Skil-Care™ Light Box

The unit is designed to work in conjunction with Skil-Care's sensory stimulation gel pads. When the gel pads are combined with the Light Box the sensory stimulation experience is heightened to increase attention span and/or add more fun. The touch-responsive gel shapes encourage manipulation for tactile stimulation and hand/finger strengthening. The light box can also be used to illuminate drawings and transparent objects for viewing or tracing. When combined with gel pads, the unit provides a surface for tactile manipulation to help improve eye-hand coordination, reduce boredom, help develop finger strength, color recognition and increase attention span. The unit is AC-powered and illuminated with a fluorescent bulb. Light box dimensions are 16"L x 16"W x 6"H and the illuminated frosted light screen area dimensions are 15.5"L x 15.5"W.
